Any country that wishes to raise the living standards of its people must undertake a massive drive for speedy and sustainable development. According to Norwegian Prime Minister and Former Director of world health organization (WHO), G.H. Brundtland, sustainable development is defined as 'meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own need'. Truly sustainable development aims at optimum use of natural resources with a high degree of reusability, minimum wastage, and least generation of toxic bi-products with maximum productivity. For centuries together there has been a growing thrust for the development of industries without concerning environmental degradation and pollution unbalancing the environment. Industrialization became inevitable with its outcomes like problems with industrial wastes, improperly or partly treated effluents, air, water, soil pollutions, and degradation of the ecosystems. To change this situation environmental friendly technologies are to be made available at affordable prices to the industries. A balance has to be struck between development and the consequential cost of environmental degradation by adopting the policy that development should never be at the cost of the environment.

According to Prof. John Dewey, nutrition and reproduction are physical life and education is social life. When education becomes cash centred, a source of wealth generation; caste centred, a source group to ill-treat and maintain inequality - many questions will arise. With compromised public education/school/college maintenance, gloomy learning spaces, substandard course contents, what kind of social life do the Government is trying to inculcate into the public education students? How is public education shaping the social life of its students? Do impression of our native education system that didn't allow equality in accessing to education by the majority sections still continue? When education is social life why do the governments not even allot 10% in the budget? Do the politicians and policymakers think that something else is social life? Do the governments want to continue the status-quo to showcase the downtrodden social life of public school children in order to get foreign aid? With all these criticism aroused, we tried to find the solutions for the next phase of human development through education.

Our Sarvodaya Association has decided to bring to the minds of today's politicians, economists, market leaders, social reformers and intellectuals of Indian society about the present injustice faced by Dalits, the bloody stains of Dalits in the present Hindutva renaissance, and the plight of Dalits in social, economic and political sectors even after 70 years of independence, and about the false propaganda of Hindutva activists that the Dalits have made sufficient progress through reservations.

Scheduled castes that have been subjected to casteist oppression for thousands of years by getting treated as Nagas, Dasas, Dasyas, Rakshasas, and Mlecchas are subjected to discrimination even today by Hindutva.  The ideology of Hindutva has become a pandemonium for the landless, homeless, unemployed, unemployed scheduled castes people. The opportunistic nationalism that they adopted and the persecution of Dalits and minorities in the name of dharma are the main reasons for The rise of anti-hindutva culture and Hindutva phobia in India and the world countries. Being in power and turning the government defunct to give any employment to the country's youth, the hypocritical ploy of hindutva activists to suppress the reservations entrusted to scheduled castes is a serious matter of concern for Sarvodaya ...
